70P is a small but powerful portable compressor kit that is capable of inflating up to 25-Inch and smaller tires easily by simply plugging into your cigarette lighter power port, connecting to a valve stem and turning the unit on. Tire pressure can be monitored using the gauge mounted on top of the unit.
70P Amp Draw Warning:
Most automotive cigarette lighter/power ports handle up to 15 amps. Some vehicles' power ports may have even lower amp ratings. Before purchasing and using this unit, inspect the amp draw limitations of your vehicle power port. The 70P Portable Air Compressor requires a power port rated for 15 amps. Never replace fuses of higher amp rating beyond the original rating of the circuit. Consult your vehicle manual for further details. You must turn on your vehicle when you are running the air compressor.

This little compressor is so powerful. It filled the air in both of my bike tires in record time. I only wish it came with an A/C adapter.

Great product! Quiet and rugged. I did blow a 15 amp line fuse within the first minute. I put a new one in and no problems since. It has only had a little use so far but it seems like it will last a long time. I hope the amp fuse was just a odd power surge...

This VIAIR 70 unit replaced another 12 volt cheaper product that was very slow to pump up standard car tires and frequently stopped in the process due to overheating. For the price, I was a bit hesitant, but the reviews were good. This product deserves the reviews and works quite well. Comes w/a nice case and very long cord to plug into the car's cigarette lighter outlet. Doesn't seem to overheat or switch off due to extended use (example: takes just a few minutes to bring up a BMW's tires from 25 - 35 psig). Analog small gauge provided is remarkably accurate as I kept checking w/my digital one and they both agreed to within 1/2 psig. I am pleased with the purchase.

I bought a cheap air compressor on another website for $20. It was extremely loud. It started to melt and died after inflating 3 tires from approx. 30 psi to 36 psi. So I threw that one in the trash and started doing research to find a HIGH QUALITY RELIABLE COMPRESSOR that was worth the money. I found the Viair 00073 70P had loads of very favorable reviews. I bought it, hoping it was as good as the hype. It is better than expected. FAST, QUIET, HEAVY DUTY, HIGH QUALITY, DOES NOT GET EXTREMELY HOT. It inflates 15" car tires from 0-36 in about 3.5 minutes. I love this compressor and I still can't believe how quiet it is. This is one of the best purcheses I have made. Thanks to all who took the time to write reviews about this great little compressor. 5 STARS FOR SURE!
