Nice wipers. Hold up well so far June 28, 2010 Scientist (Minneapolis, MN United States) I put on these wipers as a replacement for Bosch Evolution. Bosch started streaking in a week and smearing in 3-4 weeks.
I have Valeo for 4+ months and they are still good. They are also much narrower (better) than Bosch.
Nothing amazing April 29, 2010 Bobby I just installed these last month and took a couple of trips and everytime I washed my windows at high speed the driver side leaves a huge streak and the pool of water coming back to block your view so it's somewhat annoying as the original ones that came with the car had no issues.
They are nothing amazing and don't do a real GREAT job, just ordinary and really no good at high speed.
Bracketless wiper blades April 8, 2010 Jerry L. Swanson I bought these a couple months ago from one of the Today's Deals, Best Deal and went through couple a heavy snow storms and they were great. No real problem with the icing up or streaking the windshield. If they last a decent amout of time I will buy them again.
Inexpensive, but not really a bargain February 25, 2010 Flavored coffee lover (Minnesota) As I've read in other reviews, the edge of this wiper won't hug the edge of the windshield as it curves. It also does not leave a clear view on the path where the wipers intersect each other. I'd rather spend a little more money for a better wiper.
Not worth the premium price February 22, 2010 Ross Weaver 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased these with the 2 for $20 deal. At that price I don't feel ripped off, but I would definitely feel ripped off if I paid the full $18/blade.
My issues with the blade include:
In light rain, when the blade is coming back down off the drivers side it draws a small pool of water back across the window about 3" or 4". This is somewhat annoying/distracting.
Another issue I have, on the far passenger side the last 1-2" of the blade does not make good contact with the window so there is a small streak about 10" high that looks dirty or wet. It must have only 1200 pressure points on that blade(referring to the 1500 pressure points claimed by the description on the box)
Installation was quick and easy. The blades look sleek and stylish.
I have Rain-x latitudes on our other car and those are AMAZING. After using these Valeo's I am ready for them to wear out and buy some Rain-x blades.
