It's aiight... July 17, 2010 Keren Jackson (San Marcos, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well, it keeps the sun out, but it looks awful. My husband won't let me leave it on our new car because he thinks it looks ghetto. It is impossible to put it on the window without it bubbling, and it clings really well to itself, so it's a little difficult to hold it while trying to attach it to the window. My husband took it off and tried to reattach it, but it fell off the window while he was driving later. We haven't bothered putting it back up. We want a pull-down shade if such a thing exists, and we're will to pay a little more for something that works, looks good, and is durable.
Not overly attractive, but serves purpose well July 10, 2010 C. Bintner (St.Paul, Mn USA) I have a two year old son and he sometimes complains about it being too bright when we are in the car. Sunglasses are great when they stay on, but for longer car trips we wanted to find a shade for more continuous sun protection. We were not a fan of the type of shades that roll down as those seemed to be fairly easy for toddlers to pull off.
My husband drives a Matrix and I have a Honda Fit and one of these clings fits perfectly in the back window of either car. They do have a number of wrinkles when installed, but the shade stays put and keeps the sun out of my son's face. They may not be the most attractive thing ever, but they do their job well. And for the price I definitely feel it was a good purchase.
Excellent value July 7, 2010 James E. Smith 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received an email when the item shipped and got this item quickly. They adhere easily and block the sun very well. I am actually using in the canopy of my plane. Easy to see thru and does a great job of blocking the sun. Excellent value that works.
Simple, effective July 2, 2010 J. Brock Angelo (Champaign, IL) For the price, this is handy to have. It came in a 2 pack so I ordered 2 (total of 4 shades). Went on easy and cuts down on bright sun in the kids' eyes. Light still comes through, but it does help.
Good idea but AWFUL! June 21, 2010 J. Stoltz (Ohio) Bought this and tried putting it on my windows yesterday. The best way to describe it is....a fruit rollup. You need two people to put it on the window, otherwise it's like plastic wrap that sticks to itself, almost immediately! It's impossible to get all air bubbles out and it ends up looking horrible. EXTREMELY disappointed. Already took them down & stuck them in the trash.
