| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description ResQMe is a revolutionary hand-held rescue tool amazingly powerful despite its mini size. A fierce but absolutely safe spring loaded stainless steel spike allows the vehicle occupant to easily break side windows and a carefully concealed stainless steel razor blade slices through a jammed seat belt to prevent vehicular entrapment.

Haven't needed to use it, fortunately August 23, 2010 Bryan Bean I have not torn into any seat belt straps, and I don't intend to because I want the blade to be in pristine condition if I need to use it. I haven't broken any windows with the little spring-loaded hammer. I've been tempted to, but I resisted. I have used the hammer on a piece of wood and it left a neat little dent. I actually tried this on the fleshy part of my finger and it left a dent there, too (got better) (don't do this, please). So I feel pretty confident that it would work when it needed to. I've activated the hammer maybe a dozen times and it seems to be pretty reliable. And it's a fun conversation piece.
Disappointed July 8, 2010 D. Hebdon (Minnesota)
Being an Emergency Room Nurse, I bought this for our teenage drivers, knowing first-hand, sometimes you REALLY do need something like this to save your life. I was very disappointed. It's lightweight alright- because it is made of such cheap plastic that the grooves don't even align. Not only me, but 3 strong, muscled males tried to get the pin to pop with no luck. How sad to think this item could easily save a person's life, but when you needed it most, you lost a loved one or yourself because it didn't work. There should be a law against selling items such as these that were made to help, yet are made the cheapest to make a profit, not save a life. Buyer Beware!!
The product you hope never ot have to use February 26, 2010 callcam This is cheap way to possibly save yours and your loved ones lives. It's easily accessible and visible. Fast shipment.
Quality product....everyone should have one! December 19, 2009 Marilyn Kleiman (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased 16 of the ResQme as Christmas gifts, as we live in Michigan and there is water all around the state. I worry about how I would escape if my car slid into the river or lake. Now I don't worry about that. I tested them all and they all worked just fine. Do not hesitate to buy these.
LifeHammer December 3, 2009 Alice K. Kemp (Tuscaloosa, AL) Nice sized Life Hammers. Hope I never have to use it, however it is a great item to have in the vehicle. Will give the other Life Hammer as a gift.
